Our history
More than two decades of local action
Established in 2002, the Johi Organization for Rural Development and Natural Disaster is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in Sindh, Pakistan.
JORDAN began as an organized group of local socio-political activists. It grew into a professionally managed indigenous organization serving desert and coastal communities through rural development, humanitarian action, and managerial and technical capacity building.

Governance
JORDAN's archived governance statement records a seven-member Board of Directors meeting quarterly, with an Executive Body led by the Executive Director managing day-to-day work and reviewing project performance monthly.
