Developing and preserving through proper utilization of community physical infrastructure is one way to pave the way for development. Development of ‘rural’ infrastructure like earthen and gravel roads, and branching of link roads, repair and renovation of deteriorated school and hospital buildings has remained of prime significance to JORDAN.
We have shaped our policies and practices to partner for and execute projects related to Shelter, Low-cost Housing, etc. JORDAN implemented post-flood (2010) projects of repair and renovation of school and hospitals and government’s Basic Health Units (BHUs) dotted around in District Dadu (Sindh). Right now, a project of more than 500 one-room shelters is in progress.
