From the outset, JORDAN has been earnestly target-responding to the needs of the community. JORDAN’s research and advocacy team proactively visits the underserved regions of its operational areas and, once the baseline survey and needs assessment have been conducted, forwards its recommendation to the higher management.
In the planning meetings, such recommendations are kept in special consideration since our team has identified the problem and needs of the specific area. Project proposals are written against such recommendation and necessary approvals from the management — this is materialized after the detailed discussion and meetings with the national and international donor agencies willing to fund the particular project.
Yet, JORDAN has successfully implemented donor-driven projects as well. Its interventions in the thematic areas like Health, Poverty Alleviation, Sustainable Livelihood, Education, Women Empowerment, and Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), etc. have left their mark on the wellbeing of the local community.
